In 2024 AWS announced the end/shift to maintenance, of over 20 services and features, but some of these services includes
- AWS app mesh: AWS announce that this services will be discontinued on September 30 2024, due to complexity issues.
- AWS CodeCommit: As of July 2024, this services was no longer available to new customer but was put into a maintenance status, only securities and performance where given update, with no feature update.
- Amazon Cloud Directory: This service was moved to maintenance
- Amazon S3 Object Lambda: This service was removed
